mlokosewitschii hybrid
An unnamed (probably open pollinated) herbaceous hybrid of the famous ‘mloko’ species. The latter is pure pale yellow whereas this hybrid has pink blotches. Paeonia books urge people to ensure their ‘mloko’ plants are pure yellow, but I personally much prefer this astonishingly beautiful plant. It has all the foliage and seed attractions of the species and its main colour is true mlokosewitschii yellow, but the flares are a wonderful bonus.   Plant Source: Spetchley Park
